David Jokinen manages Optimal Payments' European subsidiary, with regional oversight of business development, marketing, sales, compliance, risk, customer service, and technical support. He has more than 20 years' experience in the information technology and financial services sectors, particularly the e-commerce payment-processing market.
Prior to his appointment as Managing Director, Mr. Jokinen served the company as Marketing Director, responsible for European business development, marketing, and sales; and as Vice-President, Product Development, responsible for product management and software development.
Prior to joining Optimal Payments in 1999, Mr. Jokinen provided information technology consulting services to some of Canada's largest companies, including Air Canada, BCE, Emergis, CGI, Nortel, and Teleglobe.
